What is it?
CBCT (Cone Beam Computer Tomography) or Cone Beam Computed Tomography is an advanced medical imaging technique in which X-rays are diverged to form a cone.
A image collection with CBCT is three-dimensional and 360 degrees, with high resolution and great precision. In this way, this diagnostic equipment makes it possible to observe specific anatomical details that traditional examinations might not show.
The CBCT scanner allows a quick, single pass around the patient's head which, combined with the shape of the radiation beam, substantially reduces the radiation dose to which he was usually exposed.
