The current Facelift concept is centred on the suspension of subcutaneous tissues that give in to the effect of gravity over the years and whose vector is directed vertically. In turn, the skin adapts to these repositioned tissues without any obvious tension. This gives it a natural, non-surgical appearance.
The incision usually starts at the hairline, in the temple area, and extends around the ear, front and back. It can be combined with other procedures such as blepharoplasty, frontoplasty and mid-face lift.

The Mid-Face Lift consists of restoring volume to the malar region (cheekbones) and infraorbital region by suspending the middle third of the face.
The drooping of the middle third of the face, the area between the two horizontal lines that pass through the eyes and lips, is one of the first changes that can be observed during the ageing process.
Inevitably, this downward movement will lead to a decrease in the volume of the cheekbones, the appearance of the orbital bone ridge and infraorbital fat pockets. In addition, the nasolabial fold (next to the nose) becomes more pronounced.
